Wuloru.info – Sun World Ba Na Hills attracts a large number of international tourists due to its cool climate, constantly refreshed entertainment activities, numerous check-in spots, and unique cuisine.
According to the Da Nang Statistics Office, the city welcomed more than 2 million international visitors in the first half of the year. Of these, Sun World Ba Na Hills reported that 70% of international tourists visiting Da Nang made their way to Ba Na Hills.
Most international tourists consider Ba Na Hills a “temperate paradise” in the tropical region, allowing them to enjoy cool weather throughout all four seasons. “Ba Na is like a fairyland to my family, with the Golden Bridge, colorful castles… The atmosphere here is also pleasant, bringing a feeling of relaxation and well-being,” shared Ms. Muskan Tiwari from New Delhi, India.
She was also satisfied with the distinctive, authentic cuisine from her homeland served at the Halal Food buffet restaurant within the Sun World Ba Na Hills complex.
Visitors from India rank among the highest international markets at Ba Na Hills, with more than 130,000 arrivals in the first seven months of the year.
For South Korean tourists, currently the largest international market to Vietnam, they are drawn to the ancient European architecture of Sun World Ba Na Hills and are particularly interested in locations that are highly rated on Instagram. According to the Financial Times, it is estimated that one out of every three tourists is a South Korean visiting Sun World Ba Na Hills.
Mr. Yong Sung Ok, Southeast Asia Regional Manager of Hanatour, pointed out that Koreans love mountains and cable cars. “Personally, I enjoy riding cable cars. The most fascinating part is the ability to view the scenery from above,” he said.
For many tourists worldwide, the Golden Bridge is a must-visit destination. The structure was selected by Time magazine as one of the 100 greatest places in the world, while Bored Panda praised it as a man-made wonder of Vietnam. Six years after its debut, the Golden Bridge remains a hot spot, recently introduced by Travel+Leisure as a “must-visit photo spot when traveling to Da Nang.”
Constantly refreshed entertainment activities are also an advantage that helps Sun World Ba Na Hills attract tourists. “What excites me about Ba Na Hills is that every time I return, I get to experience something different,” shared Mr. Lee Seo Joon, a South Korean tourist.
Accordingly, the year-round festive atmosphere comes from international shows. Instead of spending millions to watch a single show, tourists can enjoy a series of performances from day to night here with just a cable car ticket, such as roller-skating shows, the Search for the Beer King challenge, and the B’estival festival. Notably, this year, Sun World Ba Na Hills introduced a show combining 12 types of art forms, involving hundreds of international artists, named Fairy Blossom.
The festive atmosphere at Ba Na Hills also extends to craft German beers. This summer, Sun World Ba Na Hills introduced Vietnam’s highest craft beer brewery (1,487 meters). The Sun Kraft Beer project, nurtured over 10 years, aims to deliver fresh batches of beer and cans with impressive designs. The recipe and brewers are provided by Camba – Bavaria, and the ingredients are carefully selected from Germany, New Zealand, and the US, ensuring the freshest taste.
When night falls, the resort hosts fire dance shows and lively campfire activities performed by South American artists. Additionally, there’s a series of cabaret-style shows featuring Thailand’s transgender beauty queens. Visitors can also relax at Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills, stroll around Sun World Ba Na Hills at night, and enjoy the cool weather.
In the near future, the resort plans to launch many new festival activities so that visitors do not feel bored each time they return.
